Behind the Song: Alone

Hey friends,

I wanted to share something close to the chest — a song called “Alone.”

It was written about the time when the sting of love lost is most keenly felt. When the weight is heavy… and for a moment, you honestly wonder if it’s just easier to stay alone.

Now, I recall our starlight sugar on the windowsill
Scandinavian moon, rolling across the bay
Here on my own, these memories cut like a boring drill
The sweetest times, they cut deeper still.

It’s a real memory — and one I wanted very much to put in a song. That’s what Alone became.
